COERVER EW x MANCHESTER UNITED FOUNDATION

COMMUNITY COACH EDUCATION CLINIC

Coerver® Coaching England and Wales delivered our most recent Coach Education Clinic as part of our ongoing collaborative project with the Manchester United Foundation.

50 lead coaches from the Foundations’ “Street Reds” programme gathered at the Cliff training ground for an evening of CPD with Coerver® EW Director Scott Wright.

The "Street Reds" programme currently works with 5000 young people (both boys and girls between the ages of 8-18 years old) per week across 20 sites in Manchester.

Nick Pearce is the MUFC Foundation Community Project Co-ordinator and was present at the event.

“We were really pleased to work with Coerver® England & Wales to deliver a bespoke CPD event to our Community Coaches working across our Street Reds programme” said Nick. “This evening has given us the opportunity to provide an insight into some of the sessions and principles involved within the Coerver Coaching methodology.”

“Scott has helped us to deliver structured sessions aligned to our programme curriculum and take into consideration the differentiation of the participants from across our programme. This event not only educated our coaches to deliver to the highest standards across our programme, but also inspired the coaches to continue to develop and learn and consider the Coerver coach education pathway courses to further enhance their coaching knowledge.”
